So this isn’t really a new band or a really brand new song by any means, but the song “Hazel” by the band Weekend is a song I’ve been really obsessed with lately. I’ve always loved lo-fi, shoegaze and post punk music and the indie band Weekend mixes all of these sounds into one. “Hazel” comes from their latest EP simply titled Red. It’s the perfect blend of Joy Division meets Jesus and Mary Chain that assaults you sonically through all the senses…
