I’m not sure how to exactly say this, but I will cut right to the point…
After much debating, I’ve decided to end SoundPanda.com after a very short run. As much as I love curating great music, art and photos…I’ve just had a hard time, finding time, to make the blog the way I would want it to be and grow. It takes time daily to not only find great things to post, but in order to grow the blog, that takes even more time (marketing via Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, networking with other music blogs, etc. etc.). So yes, it comes down to time. I work as an entrepreneur and after selling off my online businesses in late 2011 for a nice sum, 2012 is going to need to be a time to rebuild my income, and that takes a lot of time when working online. I need to focus. And SoundPanda, as much as I love it, takes me away from that focus unfortunately.
With that said, I will be ending the posts here on SoundPanda.com, but will leave the site up including all the other past posts for the foreseeable future. So as this short chapter ends, I’m hoping a new one will begin. And it may begin with you. If any of you would be interested in purchasing SoundPanda.com, and taking over the blog, making it your very own, and continue to make it grow…now is your chance. I’ve invested a lot of time and money in the design and setting it up, but am willing to sell it to someone with great passion and desire to have their very own music/art/blog at a fair price.
Feel free to contact me here to make an offer.
Lastly, I would just like to say THANK YOU to everyone who read the blog and enjoyed it. I appreciate your support and love. Cheers to you!

This is a pretty cool compilation video by Matthew Wartman of one of the most photogenic places in the world, Niagra Falls. It consists of timelapse shots taken throughout the city over three nights.

Music by Mychael Danna & DeVotchKa – The Winner Is
Guided by Voices is one of those top 10 bands for me. So many great songs over the years that have meant the world to me, especially songs from the early albums like Bee Thousand and Alien Lanes. Those are near perfect indie rock albums and stand the test of time. Now the reunited original lineup of Guided by Voices have just put out the excellent album Let’s Go Eat The Factory. One of the standout tracks to me is the song called “Waves”. It has this hypnotic feeling that transcends. The lyrics are repetitive, and you really can’t make out what is being said, but it doesn’t matter. It is the feeling that matters…and it is all there.
